Welcome to Bear Country Cabin
Spread out on the sofas to watch a movie on TV, nestle in the armchair with a book, or gather by the gas fireplace after a day on the slopes: The living area is made for relaxation.

Woodland wonderland
Surrounded by generously limbed trees, Bear Country Cabin offers enviable privacy, yet it’s just minutes from the restaurants and attractions of downtown Gatlinburg.

Nothing beats a moonlit soak in a hot tub
While lazing in the deck’s hot tub during the day is certainly pampering enough, a soak at night, gazing up at the stars as the crickets serenade, is truly magical.

Alfresco living
The deck’s cozy bistro table is the perfect spot to linger over your morning coffee or evening cocktail.

Room for 2 more
One of the living area’s plush sofas opens into a bed for 2, enabling Bear Country Cabin to sleep 6 people in all.

Everything a mountain cabin should be
From the hand-set stone surround of the fireplace to the wood-plank walls and floor to the beamed vaulted ceiling, Bear Country Cabin is as homey and inviting as a mountain retreat should be.

It’s all right here
Thanks to the open floor plan, you’re never far from the warmth of the fireplace, the big game on the TV, or the beauty of nature just outside the windows.

Dining options galore
Should you eat at the dining table, the breakfast bar, the deck’s bistro table, or the picnic table at the side of the cabin? Decisions, decisions!

Table for 6, no waiting
Bear Country Cabin’s convenient location means scores of restaurants are only a quick drive away. But given how charming the cabin’s dining area is, with its view of the woodlands, you may prefer to dine in.

What’s for dinner?
Fully equipped with appliances, cookware, tableware, and a wealth of counter space, the kitchen makes cooking a pleasure.

Foosball in the loft game room
If you can’t find the kids, chances are they’re upstairs playing foosball!

The loft bedroom is a haven
Both bedrooms in Bear Country Cabin are a delight, but the loft bedroom is especially welcoming, with its vaulted ceiling and jetted tub.

So romantic
When you’re not luxuriating in the loft bedroom’s jetted tub you can laze on the king-size bed. You might never want to leave the room!

Serenity now
After a day of hiking, skiing, or exploring every corner of Dollywood, treat your weary muscles to a soak among the steamy massaging jets of the loft bedroom’s tub. You can even watch TV as you soak!

The loft bathroom
Because Bear Country Cabin has a bathroom for each bedroom, you don’t have to worry about a line forming outside the bathroom door while you indulge in a long shower.

Linens will be ready and waiting
You’ll arrive at Bear Country Cabin to find the beds perfectly made up and plenty of clean towels and extra bedding at the ready.

The view from the loft
Even when you’re not playing foosball, you might want to hang out in the loft simply to admire the bird’s-eye view of the old-growth woodlands. It’s a lovely spot to catch up on emails via the free WiFi.

Dinner mountain-style
For a true Smoky Mountain dining experience, cook trout—perhaps some you reeled in yourself from one of the nearby streams!—on the outdoor charcoal grill, then dig in while seated at the picnic table.

Relish nature’s grandeur
The deck wraps around the front and side of Bear Country Cabin, offering panoramic views of the glorious forested mountainside.

Suite dreams
Like the rest of Bear Country Cabin, the main floor’s bedroom is an ideal marriage of old-fashioned charm and contemporary comfort.

Stretch out on the king-size bed
You might want to turn in early simply to loll on the bedroom’s king-size bed as you read or surf the web.

The main floor’s bathroom
There’s plenty of space in the main floor’s bright and roomy bathroom to stash all your toiletries.

Shower in the morning, soak at night
The main floor’s bathroom has a shower/tub combo with an adjustable hand-held showerhead for maximum convenience.

A private washer and dryer
Bear Country Cabin has a washer and dryer, so you can pack lighter than usual—and maybe even return home with a suitcase full of clean clothing!

Listen for the singing
To hear a free concert, all you have to do is step out onto the deck! Whether you’re relaxing in the hot tub or playing cards at the table, you’ll be surrounded by the singing of sparrows, wrens, and warblers.

On top of the world
As you gaze out from the deck of Bear Country Cabin, you’ll feel like king or queen of all you survey.

Wish you were here?
You can be… once you reserve your stay at Bear Country Cabin, that is!
The main-level floor plan
Even when you’re not kicking back on the expansive wraparound deck, you can still revel in the scenery, thanks to the cabin’s large windows and French doors.
The upstairs floor plan
If the jetted tub doesn’t sway you toward claiming the loft bedroom as your own, the foosball table just down the hall might!

Beautiful Views
Take a trip to the Smoky Mountains you can experience the unforgettable views. In the fall season the colors get really vibrant and is a spectacular sight! Imagine going hiking.

It s Time For Fun!
There are several things you can do to have a good time such as: Ziplining, Ripleys Believe It Or Not! Odditorium and Aquarium, and Admiring the views via Sky Lift.

Description for Bear Country Cabin
Bear Country Cabin combines the peace and privacy of a secluded mountain hideaway with the convenience of being just minutes from restaurants, shops, and attractions. What’s more, the 2-bedroom log cabin looks as delightfully rustic as the woodlands surrounding it, yet its sophisticated amenities include an outdoor hot tub, an indoor jet tub, free WiFi, and satellite TV.
When you’re surrounded by lush old-growth trees harboring choirs of songbirds, you want to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Bear Country Cabin makes that easy. Its deck, which wraps across the front of the cabin and down one side, is furnished with chairs and a bistro table so that you can relish the sights and sounds of mountain living anytime you want. You can enjoy your meals outdoors too, at the picnic table to the side of the cabin—and cook them alfresco, on the charcoal grill.
Perhaps the best spot to soak up the sunshine, the crisp breeze, and the sight of eagles and falcons soaring overhead is while taking a literal soak—in the deck’s hot tub. And luxuriating among the steamy bubbles is even more magical at night, under a twinkling canopy of stars, the hoots of the owls punctuating the harmonizing of the crickets.
The interior of Bear Country Cabin offers its own charms. Large windows bring the vistas indoors, and the sunlight shows off the rich grain of the wood floors, walls, and vaulted ceiling to perfection. The plush sofas invite you to stretch out with a good book or to cozy up with the family as you watch a movie on the 37” HDTV with DVD player and satellite channels. In winter you’ll want to pull the wingback chair close to the gas fireplace as you unwind with a book.
Among the many benefits of vacationing in a cabin rather than a hotel is being able to cook your own meals and enjoy them in privacy. Bear Country Cabin’s kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware you’d expect in any home, with a breakfast bar that provides plenty of counter space (and a place for sous chefs to sit while helping you prepare a meal). If you have K-cups, bring them: The kitchen has a Keurig brewing system. There’s a dishwasher too, because who wants to scrub plates while on vacation? If you prefer to eat indoors rather than at the outdoor picnic table, you can make yourselves comfortable at the dining table, which seats 6.
After dinner, head upstairs to the loft’s game room for an unexpected treat: foosball! Just don’t let the spectacular views from the expansive windows put you off your game!
One of Bear Country Cabin’s 2 en-suite bedrooms is on the loft level as well. Both this bedroom and the one on the main floor have king-size beds, full bathrooms, and cozy rustic furnishings that transform the spaces into cocooning retreats. The upstairs bedroom does have the advantage of a jetted tub in the room, however. A long soak will help keep your muscles from stiffening up after a day on the slopes, the links, or the hiking trail—and might put you in the mood for romance too! If you have additional guests, don’t worry: One of the living room’s sofas opens into a bed for 2, so that up to 6 people can spend the night.
Bear Country Cabin’s prime location means you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg in about 10 minutes. There you’ll find restaurants, an aquarium, mini golf, and a host of other attractions. Just slightly farther afield are Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, Wild Bear Falls Water Park, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its waterfalls, wildflowers, and wildlife. Even Dollywood and the other attractions of Pigeon Forge are just a half-hour away.
Regardless of how you spend your days, you’ll love returning to the comfort and quiet of Bear Country Cabin at night. Experience it for yourself; book your stay today!
Please remember that Gatlinburg and the surrounding area is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. Inclement weather can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. We strongly recommend four-wheel drive and/or chains during the winter months.

Reviews for Bear Country Cabin
Great!
It was lovely and I will come back with the family again.
The cabin Country Bear was absolutely beautiful, immaculate, clean, tidy, fully stocked, beautifully decorated, beautifully crafted. Amazing view smack in the middle of the woods.
Lovely secludid cabin! Awesome hot tub!
We had a lovely few days in the cabin, secluded enough to feel close to nature but close enough to get to the national park and other attractions. Only thing i would have wanted to know beforehand is that when they say they offer few items in the kitchen and bathroom they mean it! There’s soap and toilet paper but not much else, so definitely pack your coffee filters, seasonings, shampoo, and a kitchen sponge to bring with you! We had made a grocery run before going to the cabin but every other VRBO or AirBNB that we had used before had some basics there, so we had to make a second run the next day. Not a huge deal at all but a heads up would have been appreciated, particularly bc they were so communicative about everything else. Would definitely return!
