Description for Lazy Cub Lodge
At Lazy Cub Lodge, it’s easy to relish the beautiful Smoky Mountain setting. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom cabin has a large deck looking out toward the mountains, a sunroom furnished with plenty of comfortable seating, and a large yard replete with a swing. Don’t be fooled by the quiet, bucolic surroundings, though: The lodge is also just a ten-minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to dinner theaters, attractions, and restaurants galore.

The great room dominates the main floor of Lazy Cub Lodge. With its towering vaulted ceiling and large windows, this wood-planked room is a bright, airy space for enjoying good times with family and friends. On chilly winter evenings, everyone can gather by the fireplace for a game of charades; after a summertime hike you can sprawl out and cool off beneath the breeze of the ceiling fan (don’t worry; there’s also central air-conditioning for sultry days).

The dining area is part of the great room. At least 6 people can sit at the table, and an adjacent counter can accommodate several more. You can dine outdoors too; the deck includes a picnic table. There’s a gas grill outside as well, so that you can cook as well as eat alfresco. Of course, Lazy Cub Lodge has a kitchen too, equipped with a full array of appliances, cookware, and tableware. Even if you eat your meals at the numerous nearby restaurants, you’ll love the convenience of having a refrigerator to keep wine and juice boxes cold and the ability to brew a cup of coffee or make popcorn whenever you want—it’s one of the (many) advantages of staying in a cabin rather than a hotel.

Another advantage of staying at Lazy Cub Lodge is the huge upstairs game room/den. It’s so large that it has several “zones” so that everyone can spend time together while doing his or her own thing. One area features a full-size pool table. Another is furnished with a TV and a couch that invites you to sprawl out and make yourself at home. The third area, with another sofa and a rocker armchair, is ideal for curling up with a book or taking advantage of the free WiFi to surf the web.

Lazy Cub Lodge’s sunroom might be the ultimate relaxation area. Oversized windows allow you to gaze out at the Smoky Mountains as you sip a beverage on a rocker or play checkers at the game table. Or perhaps you’d rather head outside to the deck’s rocking chairs or porch swing. A second swing is in the yard. Either is tailor-made for stargazing with your sweetheart—so romantic. Equally romantic: a moonlit soak in the deck’s hot tub. Then again, a soak in the hot tub is pretty fabulous just about any time of night or day!

Along with three bedrooms, Lazy Cub Lodge has three full bathrooms. Having a bathroom for each bedroom means you can treat yourself to a lengthy pampering session without a line forming on the other side of the door. Two of the bedrooms include queen-size beds. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, plus French doors that open onto the deck, so you can slip outside to watch the sunrise without waking the others.

In addition, two of the sofas open into beds for two, enabling Lazy Cub Lodge to sleep ten people in all. Other amenities include a washer and dryer; not only can you pack light, but you can also return home with clean laundry!

The ultimate convenience, though, just might be Lazy Cub Lodge’s location. As you sit outside among the singing birds and the fresh mountain breezes, you can easily forget that in less than twenty minutes you can drive to Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, Wears Valley Zipline Adventures, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, and Parrot Mountain and Gardens, among other attractions.

When it comes to location, comfort, privacy, and convenience, Lazy Cub Lodge is tough to beat. Don’t miss out; book your stay today!

Reviews for Lazy Cub Lodge
We had an awesome week!
Home was exactly as advertised, well equipped and great secluded location. We had a wonderful time playing pool, enjoyed the hot tub one evening and had a fire in the fire pit one night. Cabin was only about 10 minutes from town and was easy to find with google maps, it takes you right there. We had an awesome week.

Great cabin in the mountains. Plenty of room, well equipped, wifi worked great. Perfect place!
Loved this cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday there and had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend this rental.

Relaxing and Enjoyable Weekend
I rented the Lazy Cub Lodge with 7 others friends for a reunion. The cabin was ready to go when we arrived except for a missing mattress. With a single call, maintenance was back out to bring the mattress up for the new headboard that was installed. The team's quick response gave me peace of mind that I wouldn't have to worry about anything during our stay. The amenities were perfect, and the closeness to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and many trails in the Smokies meant we were never lacking for things to do. The cain setting was beautiful and offered plenty of privacy.

Beautiful & quiet setting!
Lazy Cub Lodge was the perfect place for our sister reunion with a separate main floor bedroom for each couple. The setting is beautiful and quiet; the kitchen well furnished with dishes, utensils and appliances; and the decorating was impressive with many unusual items. We got lots of use from the rocking chairs on the wrap-around deck. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived. The loft has game areas and a 5th TV -- highly recommended for a family with young people. It was a 10 minute drive for grocery shopping. We would recommend this lodge to our friends. The only challenge was the steep driveway which made it difficult for my husband to manage on crutches.

Perfect family cabin! Look no further
We searched for days to find this cabin. Lived up to what the pictures show. We had a blast and will definitely return. There were only 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, however it could’ve easily slept up to 11. We had family visit and there was plenty of room for us to hang out. Loved the set up as it wasn’t too large and you didn’t feel like everyone was spread out too far on the different floor levels. The kids enjoyed the upstairs; It had a living room, sitting area, books, games, pool table, foosball, and a deck with chairs and checkers. All of the bedrooms were downstairs with the kitchen and den. The hot tub out on the deck was clean and ready when we arrived. Sadly we did not get to use the outdoor fire pit. The cabin was located perfectly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There were plenty of towels and covers, everything worked including the dishwasher, there was every kind of pot and pan you needed, even a cupcake pan which we used to cook for a family event we were in town for. Management called while we were there to make sure things were good, they were friendly and we were provided with contact info if needed.  Note if you hear dogs: we were in the hot tub one night and two dogs came running through the yard chasing a bear away. They went on for about 20 mins and the bear was grunting loudly trying to get away from the dogs. Needless to say we were thankful.
