Imagine your own piece of paradise, where the atmosphere is relaxed, away from the chaotic day-to-day grind. Picture stepping into a world where there is no weight on your shoulders, shouting kids are quiet, and everyday pressures become a mere memory. Escape the daily grind by visiting your home away from home at Pelican Landing. Would you like to go somewhere where the beach is less than a 2-minute walk away from where you lay your head? If all the above sounds good to you then stop looking as you have found your perfect holiday house.

The outside this cottage home doesn’t appear to be much, just a square double story home. From the moment you enter this renovated cottage, you feel like you are in a world of luxury mixed with the quietness of a country town. The spacious living room has enough room to accommodate a large family. With an open fireplace to entice those romantic nights and the high ceilings that make the room seem endless. The room feels natural with calming and ocean colors to make anyone unwind to the simple pleasures life has to offer.

Following through the very spacious and thought out main living room, you will find a natural wooden bar that can cater for any social event that may occur with friends or family. Followed by the dining area, next is the fully renovated U-shaped kitchen. The kitchen sparkles on its own with its superb granite bench top, spacious breakfast bar, and collection of appliances.

The wrap around staircase leads upstairs where you will find nice sized bedrooms, keeping with the same natural and calm tones. The main bedroom has it's very own en-suite and the second and third bedrooms share a spacious bath that links to both rooms. From the third bedroom, you will gain access to the veranda where you can overlook the surrounding scenery and absorb nature of Pelican Landing at its finest.

On the ground level, you will find a completely enclosed patio out the back where you can just sit back and relax and enjoy the cool breeze without the annoying insects interrupting your night or day.

Every bedroom in this cottage has a TV, so you can stay connected with the outside world, and boasts lots of natural lighting. Bedroom 1 and 2 have queen sized beds while bedroom 3 has a daybed with a trundle single bed.

After you have finished playing outdoors you can come back and relax to a nice long shower with water temperature control and an overhead shower. The main bathroom has a bath so if showering is not your thing, you can sit and soak up the relaxed atmosphere that this little beauty holds.

The whole house has tiles throughout on the floor making it a breeze to clean. Hidden away behind the main living room, you will find the laundry tucked away behind bi-fold doors. All the rooms have their own ceiling fan to control the room temperature perfectly. Each room is very spacious and has room to allow each person staying under the roof to do whatever they desire.

This little home away from home is also pet-friendly so you can bring your pooch along to enjoy the good times with the family as well!

The house was clean and orderly with the exception of a couple items that seemed "forgotten" by cleaning staff. This included a couch cushion upturned that had not been vacuumed underneath on the sleeper sofa/main living couch, sand in the shower despite any of us visiting the beach yet, and an opened stove drawer and utensil drawer in the kitchen. Otherwise we found the rental to be very accommodating and comfortable. It's a great beach house. Part cottage, part lodge. The stone fireplace, high ceilings, and wooden stairs (not child friendly!) are all beautiful. Best of all, it is pet-friendly, which is a great advantage for our furry family member.

Perfect little house
Wonderful Christmas in this house. Relatives live close by in Jacksonville and Gainesville...plenty of room for them to visit and stay the night. Convenient to everything. Only drawback is the noise from A1A and there is very limited space to turn around unless you back onto A1A. Would rent this cute house again!

Relaxing Simple Vacation Home
I found the home to be in a good location. We only had to walk about 10 minutes to the beach. The beach was lovely, very picturesque! The home was comfortable, especially the beds. Kitchen was nice, but lightly stocked. I would bring any large pots for cooking. The washer/dryer was so nice to have. The air conditioner was great! Had a little trouble with the t.v., but they sent someone out right away to fix it, after a few calls. Stores were close, and the Old St. Augustine Town was a short drive. Overall a very pleasant stay. There is so much to see and do, need two weeks! August is very hot /humid though!

July Beach Vacation
Everything was great and those I spoke with were kind. Both phone and email answered quickly and efficiently.
