Description for Tennismaster 1102
Multiple balconies and patios create an indoor-outdoor feel for this newly renovated townhouse. Less than a ten-minute walk from the beach, it offers three bedroom suites, the latest electronics, and more!

Once you have stayed at Tennismaster 1102, you will be forever spoiled! This lovely two-story, contemporary wood-framed home simply has too many fine touches and designer features to consider staying anywhere else on Hilton Head Island.

Stroll into the great large room and find yourself with a choice: one set of sliding glass doors leads to a big covered and screened deck with casual seating and dining space for six, while another leads into an open-air patio with a grill, lush plants, and more casual seating. Of course, there's also a third choice: flop down on the comfy sofa (which converts to a queen-sized bed) or one of the plush easy chairs and turn on the large wall-mounted HDTV with cable package and DVD player. Ah, the tough decisions to be made on vacation!

The great room is wonderful, with a polished wooden floor, lots of open space, and windows everywhere. Gather the group and indulge a little old-fashioned family fun such as a round of charades or Jenga. Something about this space is calming, and there's plenty of room for everyone to indulge in their favorite pastime.

The dining area is just beyond the great room, with the same terrific views. A handsome wooden table seats six beneath a stylish chandelier. Now, you may opt to dine al fresco on the covered or open decks, so this table stands ready to be converted into a laptop station (you have free WiFi at Tennismaster 1102), game center (Cranium, anyone?), or even a puzzle table. It's so much fun rediscovering the simple pleasures in a beautiful seaside location!

The gallery-style kitchen, cheerfully decorated in sea-blue and sparkling white, stands ready with full-sized appliances and well-stocked cupboards. If there is a chef in your group, the abundance of cookware, dishes, utensils, and gadgets will be delightful. If cooking at home is the last thing you want to do on vacation, the tabletop time-savers will be more your style: a coffeemaker, blender, toaster, and microwave, all designed to get your group fed, watered, and out the door in the morning a little faster! All you need to bring is groceries; everything else is contained here in pristine condition.

Just beyond the kitchen is a breakfast room that also serves as a small office. Sit at the bistro table with that first cup of coffee and savor the beginning of another day in Hilton Head, or upload vacation photos onto social media while the rest of the group watches a movie in the great room. The washer and dryer are just off this room, and the outer door is here too, so it's convenient for returning from the beach or community pool and tossing wet swimsuits and towels into the laundry room.

Speaking of convenient, the first floor of Tennismaster 1102 also has a half-bath. This bath has also been renovated and is a charming spot you will appreciate as you linger on the patio, sharing anecdotes and reminiscences long after the meal is finished and the wine bottle is empty.

The master suite is also on the first floor -- very convenient for those wishing to avoid stairs, and pleasantly private. Here you are regaled with a king-sized bed, TV, palm-frond ceiling fan, overstuffed easy chairs, and sliding-glass doors to the open patio. The en-suite bath includes dual vanities and a big tiled walk-in shower. Heaven!

Upstairs are two more bedroom suites, each with its own open-air balcony. One features a queen-sized bed with a TV. Its en-suite bath includes a walk-in shower and sunken tub, and the balcony stands beside a glorious magnolia tree, which shares its blooms and indescribable scent in springtime!

The remaining suite offers two twin beds, a TV with DVD player, and a nice big reading chair, just right for bedtime stories. Sliders lead onto a balcony with a high, solid rail and casual seating. Wherever you are at Tennismaster 1102, the balmy salt-tinged air of the island is never far away!

Tennismaster 1102 is part of Shipyard Plantation, and this community includes an outdoor swimming pool with sun shelf and cabana, walking and biking trails, and lush landscaping. You are very close to the pool at this townhouse, and the beach is less than a ten-minute walk. There's no lovelier place, and it's waiting for you! Make your reservation today.

Great location!
The location of this rental was great, close to the pool and less than 10-minute walk to the beach. The screened porch and quietness of the rental was great. My recommendation for the owners of this villa is to put mattress pads/protectors on all of the beds. The master bedroom on the main floor had no mattress or pillow protectors and when I stripped the bed upon leaving, there were stains on the mattress as well as the pillows, from previous renters. The carpet throughout the villa was quite stained and either needs a thorough cleaning or replacement of carpet or hardwood. The supplies in the villa (ie: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, laundry detergent) were extremely limited. I recognize that we are given a 'starter' supply but the starter supply was rather small.

Felt a lot like home.
Nice unit 1//2 mile walk from beach. Updated bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Will need new propane grill soon but the old one worked for us. Quiet. Very nice screened porch in the back. Stayed a month and would choose it again. Felt a lot like home.

Wonderful screened porch
We had a wonderful stay! The unit was very clean, updated and a good location to the beach, walking/bike paths, and everything Hilton Head has to offer. One of our favorite areas was the back screened in porch and the quick walk to the pool.
